BEECHTREE PARTNERS EXECUTIVE SEARCH PROCESS

Step 1: Initial Consultation and Site Visit
BeechTree Partners is committed to personally meeting with each stakeholder. BeechTree Partners will gather detailed information on your open position, workflow processes and expectations. We will sit down with key decision makers to outline position specifications, leadership qualities, critical success factors, and cultural compatibility. We will then design a customized approach to suit your individual needs.

Step 2: Search and Recruiting Assessment
BeechTree Partners evaluates the feasibility of completing a search, or human capital assignment according to your timeframe, criteria and salary guidelines. A Service Level Agreement (SLA) is then provided outlining these deliverables.

Step 3: Position Profile
BeechTree’s unique position profile addresses the busy executive’s need for quick access to essential information. Our geographic research on schools, real estate, recreation and business climate is backed by an equally intense look at your organization’s culture, leadership, competitive position and, if applicable, financial status. BeechTree outlines the position in terms of duties, responsibilities, challenges and expectations.

Step 4: Search Strategy, Research and Sourcing
BeechTree Partners develops a search roadmap and in-depth strategic plan for locating ideal candidates—from analysis of market conditions to the location of industry opinion leaders, networks and referral sources in the media, financial community, universities, associations and consulting firms. We also work with the existing executive team or board of directors in identifying and evaluating internal candidates who should be considered.

Step 5: Candidate Interviews & Background Investigation
BeechTree Partners interviews and screens all potential candidates based on your criteria for credentials, competence, experience, personality, cultural fit, salary and availability for relocation. Just because something is written on a resume doesn't mean it's true. BeechTree performs in-depth professional and personal reference checks and verifies all degrees and credentials. This step is performed before the candidate is presented to the search committee.

Step 6: Candidate Presentation
BeechTree introduces you to its top candidates by presenting in-depth summaries of candidate interviews. Each summary profiles a candidate’s background and expertise, as well as unique motivations, leadership style, needs, goals, "hot buttons" and “must-haves.” An “opinion” by the interviewing consultant is also included. Should you desire a psychological profile BeechTree Partners has the resources to provide this service as well.

Step 7: Candidate Score Card
BeechTree Partners has developed a tool which aids in benchmarking the candidate slate by quantifying required core competencies then assigning scores based upon the outcome of our interviews.

Step 8: Client Interviews with Candidates
BeechTree works with you to coordinate the date, time, location and agenda for each candidate interview. As each interview is completed, we obtain feedback and plot next steps.

Step 9: Candidate Self-Assessment
Candidates who remain "in-play" after the initial client interviews are afforded an opportunity to evaluate how they envision success and challenges in the new role, creating an additional, value-adding, dialogue point with the client and ensuring proposed "on-boarding" will be as effective as possible.

Step 10: Offer of Employment
Once you have identified the ideal candidate, BeechTree can support you in crafting and negotiating an offer of employment. We are equipped to address existing non-compete agreements as well as other employment agreements. BeechTree will extend and negotiate the final offer.

Step 11: Relocation Assistance
BeechTree Partners doesn’t back off when a candidate accepts your offer. We work with both you and the candidate to make the professional transition as smooth as possible. If relocation is in the picture, BeechTree works with local agencies, chambers of commerce, schools, churches/synagogues and real estate agents to ensure a positive, seamless relocation experience. BeechTree’s optional transition support service facilitates interaction between the new candidate, the board of directors, senior level executives and employees on topics such as style, expectations, policy, guidelines and strategy.

Step 12: Quality of Hire Initiative
BeechTree’s quality of hire program uses feedback from both clients and candidates to generate a series of customized, quarterly reports for a period of one year following a placement. Depending on your needs, we can meet and touch base with your candidate, senior executives, subordinates and other key players on issues such as culture, management style, expectations, goals and succession plans. Your organization benefits from early measurement of candidate performance backed by candid feedback from team members. BeechTree benefits from its ability to track and quantify your satisfaction as well as long-term candidate success.
