With more than 30 years of legal experience, Bob has been a transaction attorney and a litigator in private practice and as inside counsel. He has been the Chief Legal Officer/Chief Compliance Officer/Corporate Secretary of four companies in the financial services, retail and real estate industries, three of which were public. Bob has been the Chief Administrative Officer of a NYSE listed company and has led the Human Resources departments of two companies. He has been an effective counsel to the C- Suite, Boards of Directors and Board Committees. He has a successful track record of helping companies to increase revenues, reduce costs and continually improve processes. He has extensive experience in corporate and securities law and contract law, and has drafted, negotiated and reviewed hundreds of employment and severance agreements. He has been instrumental in providing legal consulting services to a sophisticated client base in the healthcare and electric power industries. Bob has his own private legal and legal consulting practice and is also an arbitrator and mediator. He received his MBA degree, with distinction, from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University where he was admitted to the Beta Gamma Sigma national honor society. Bob is licensed to practice law in Illinois. He is a frequent speaker and author.
