Assessing Your Needs

  3. How many people will be in attendance, including staff?
  4. When will the event take place? Who are the “shoulder” speakers? What are the adjacent events, such as dinner, lunches or cocktail receptions?
  5. Who is your “ideal” speaker in terms of credentials, experience and topic coverage?
  6. What other speakers have achieved positive results for you in the past? Please provide names.
  7. What topics or issues do you want the speaker to cover?
  8. What topics or sensitive areas do you want the speaker to avoid or downplay?
  9. What learning objectives do you want to the speaker to fulfill?
  10. How should the speaker address or conform to an event theme or values or mission statement?
  11. How would you like to see the presentation organized or structured?
  12. Which technologies do you hope to use in delivering the presentation?
